1. The moment you settle in and look around go join a family doctor in your neighbourhood.
  2. Every time you come to him/her you gonna pay around $40.
  3. In case you need an Ultrasound/X-ray, or some other tests, he writes a refferal for you. With this one you go to another specialist where you usually pay more (a few hundreds appr.)
  4. if you need to see some specialist that is not urgent for you (like dermatologist or orthodontist), they will most certainly be private (and your insurance won't cover them). The initial consultations there cost about $100, and the service prices are quite high. In my practice it has meant the quality was quite good as well, but still sad there's no discounts for full-time students.))
